Cotswold Life EMI Awards 2016 Winners Revealed

Last week, the NCC was delighted to attend the Cotswold Life EMI Awards 2016 where over 450 individuals from across the engineering industry gathered at Cheltenham Racecourse for the big reveal of this year’s winners. The event, the second Cotswold Life Engineering, Manufacturing, Innovation Awards Dinner, event celebrated the thriving Cotswolds engineering and manufacturing sector, and the successful individuals working within it, across Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and North Wiltshire.

Among the audience of over 450, the NCC attended alongside representatives from some of the largest national manufacturing and engineering support organisations to showcase the breadth and depth of innovation and skills here. Lord Drayson, business entrepreneur and former Government Minister for Defence, Science and Innovation, gave the key note address, and spoke on the value of manufacturing and importance of innovation to the Cotswolds, and the UK as a whole.

The NCC was one of over 100 entries across a variety of sectors including automotive, aviation, precision engineering and pharmaceutical, and was chosen as a Finalist in the category of Best Place to Work.
