NCC joins forces with NIACE to host SME Event for Northern Ireland

On Wednesday 10th August, the NCC and the Northern Ireland Advanced Composites and Engineering Centre (NIACE) in Belfast will come together to offer a free event for Northern Ireland SMEs interested in expanding their composites expertise.

SMEs are recognised as the primary engine for driving economic growth, and this event provides the perfect platform to find out how to access the capabilities, expertise and support that NIACE, the NCC and Invest NI can offer, helping to fully exploit the advantages of Composites Materials. The event aims to improve the connections to the innovative composite SME community in Northern Ireland, and the agenda has been designed to enable them to better tap in to HVM Catapult capability in mainland UK.

Tom Hitchings, Head of SME and Membership, and Nigel Keen, Business Development Engineer at the NCC, will be attending the free exclusive one-day event for Northern Ireland SMEs. This is not to be missed by any SME interested in expanding its composites expertise. As well as introductions to NIACE, the NCC and SME REACH programmes, attendees will also hear case studies based on SMEs that have benefited from support. Invest NI will also tell attendees about support available from them.

Whether you’re already using composites, or are at the start of a composites journey, the NCC can also offer free advice through the Government-backed SME REACH programme.*

There are a number of ways to get involved in the event. 3-minute pitches are avalailable for attendees to provide an overview of their company to assembled delegates. Attendees can also book one-to-one sessions with representatives from NIACE and the NCC. Both of these opportunities are available on a first come first served basis. Please contact scott.king@niace-centre.org.uk for more infomation.
