The results from our 2016 Employee Engagement Survey suggested that our employees wanted more clarity around career paths at the NCC. This led to the release of our Career Development Framework which provides clear career paths for the whole business. This framework shows how an employee can progress in their current department and how to move to different departments.
Part of the project which led to the release of the Career Development Framework meant that every role in the NCC is graded and the salary bands for each grade are available to all staff. By having a transparent pay structure, we can recognise and reward staff in a fair and consistent manner.
