Who are the NCC looking for?

While some of our people are world-leading experts in their fields, we recruit for a variety of roles in many different areas, encompassing a broad range of skillsets and experience levels. We’re always keen to hear from engineers of all stripes who live our values of Excellence, Learning, Innovation, Customer, Integrity and Teamwork.

• Early Careers – There’s a range of early careers routes to choose from at the NCC. Each year we take on a cohort of graduate engineers, run Year-in-Industry placements and recruit business and engineering apprentices

• Composites Specialists – A world-leading R&D centre needs world-leading engineers. We’re home to engineers with extensive experience from a variety composites manufacturing specialisms. From Conceptual Design to TTR, from Metrology to NDT

• Non-Composites Engineers – More recently we’ve taken a more pro-active approach to developing engineers with our Composites Conversion Course, an intensive programme designed to fast-track engineers from other backgrounds into composites-focused roles

Not an engineer?
We offer diverse opportunities in our operations teams including IT, Facilities, HR, Finance, Procurement and Business Development. The NCC is dedicated to providing opportunities for learning, development and career success in non-engineering roles

    Our normal business hours are between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday with core hours between 10am and 3pm. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and will always seriously consider applications for part times roles and job share.
