The NCC Composite Integrity Verification Cell enables faster geometric measurement and non-destructive testing of larger components with much greater accuracy and repeatability.

The robot controlled system at the NCC combines multiple inspection methods in a single platform.

Comprising a range of ultrasonic (Pulse-Echo, Phased Array, Full Matrix) thermography and laser shearography all within a robotic cell, including automatic tool path and 3-D VR/AR visualisation.

Capable of verification for components / assemblies of single or mixed materials (metallic, carbon, glass) in a variety of configurations (bonded, monolithic, sandwich) up to 3m x 3m x 9m.


Can be used for airframe, engine parts and landing gears.  Wind turbines, oil and gas pipes and automotive chassis structures.
