At the National Composites Centre we offer students the opportunity to gain work experience in different engineering departments. The aim of the work experience is to gain an insight into the life of an engineer. Our aim is to encourage and inspire students to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) subjects and pursue a career in engineering. The three different departments that we offer work experience in are: Design, stress and simulation, Manufacturing and tooling and Materials and testing.
