The National Composites Centre will be participating in Farnborough International Airshow 2024, with the High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult and its Centres, exhibiting on the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) stand.

The National Cyber-Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) Frameworks, Standards and Guidance Workshop is taking place at the National Composites Centre, 10 July, 9.30-4.30pm.

The UK Ceramic Matrix Composites Working Group will be taking place 9th July, hosted by our strategic partner Lucideon, in Stone, Staffordshire. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

NCC experts presenting include Monali Dahale, discussing the “Influence of textile architecture on the drape, impact, and damage tolerance performance of 3D woven glass fibre composites"; as well as Susie Morton and Hannah Swinbourne sharing more on “High-rate, Circular Composites for Automotive Applications.”

Marcus Walls-Bruck, Head of Hydrogen Technologies at the National Composites Centre will be presenting at the Hydrogen Innovation Showcase, 2-3 July taking place at the Pendulum Hotel & Conference Centre, Manchester.

Dr. Peter Giddings, Chief Engineer for Energy at the National Composites Centre, will be presenting at Frontiers of solid mechanics for the energy transition, held by the International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM).

Dr Andrew Limmack, Chief Engineer of Aerospace Propulsion & Advanced Systems, National Composite Centre, will be presenting at the Yeovil branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society, 'Stronger, Harder, Lighter - The Future of Composites in Aerospace' on 20th June, 18.00 - 17.45hrs, taking place at the iAero Centre at Leonardo Helicopters. 

Jo Dally, Chief Business Officer will be participating in a thought-provoking discussion sharing how the National Composites Centre contributes towards creating successful R&D programmes for business. The event takes place from 9:00 - 14:00, on Wednesday, 19 June at Renishaw PLC in New Mills, Wotton-under-Edge.

Ole Thybo Thomsen, National Composites Centre Chair in Composites Manufacturing & Design, will be delivering a keynote presentation, "Academia/RTO/industry partnership in composites research and innovation to deliver prosperity and NetZero," on Wednesday, 19 June 2024 at 10:10.
