Enrique Garcia, NCC will present the 'Technology opportunity' and Matt Hocking, NCC will present on the 'Construction sector challenges' at the Composites UK annual conference 2022.

This dynamic conference is the European forum for knowledge exchange on the recent accomplishments and the future trends in Composite Materials, with this year's theme being Composites meet Sustainability. EngD students from the NCC will be presenting throughout the conference.

UWE and DETI Skills are bringing all this together to celebrate the amazing inventions children in the South West designed for the Leaders Award competition - with shortlisted entries on display alongside the robots, music technology, crafty activities, and free planetarium show?!

The shortlisted entries to the South West Leaders Award will be displayed at UWE Bristol’s School of Engineering and an award ceremony will take place at 4:30pm.

The National Composites Centre and Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult are hosting a Joule Challenge industry workshop from 10am - 12pm at Global Offshore Wind 2022.

Our second Technology Day will focus on composites for harsh environments in the defence sector.

A member of our Surface Transport team will be speaking at the event as part of the panel on R&D support for clean maritime within the Clean Marine Innovation Showcase. We'll be presenting about the crucial role of composites in unlocking net zero marine and how the NCC can support companies in this transition for the marine and maritime industry.
