Richard Oldfield, CEO of the National Composites Centre, will be presenting on the "Composites role in delivering net zero" as part of the Bristol Composite Institute's Composite Principles seminar.

Kaloyana Kostova, Principal Research Engineer, NCC is presenting at 10.15 alongside speakers from Arup and the University of Warwick at NCE Future of Bridges.

UWE-DETI Skills with its partner companies including NCC, are holding a free, virtual/online skills and training CPD course to help manufacturing companies and workers visualise the possibilities of the future with digital tools and skills alongside career pathways required. The aim of the course if to provide participatory experience in Virtual Reality and realistic visualisation environments in both intermediate and large-scale display environments to attendees.

Each month our Research Committee, made up of Tier 1 and 2 NCC members, receive regular updates on the cutting-edge research being conducted at the NCC.

Bristol's hugely popular, annual walking festival – Bristol Walk Fest is back! This year you can experience an engineering themed walk around Bristol's harbourside thanks to the Digital Trailblazers app created by the DETI Inspire team from UWE Bristol's School of Engineering. This May half-term there will also be an opportunity to meet some real-life engineers at locations along the Harbourside Trail, on Saturday 28th May and Monday 30th May.
