Aiming to help SME Manufacturers in Cornwall prepare for a net zero future, Leah Rider (Head of SME Delivery), Jonathan Butt (Deputy Chief Engineer – Digital), James Helm (Technology Programme Manager – SME Projects) and Kyle Pender (Advanced Research Engineer – Sustainability) will be speaking at this free to attend Future Focus event on advanced materials, net zero, sustainability and industrial digitalisation.

The NCC and AREA will be holding an inaugural Immersive Design Collaboration event, taking place at the NCC. This is an opportunity to experience the latest technology from leading AR and VR providers, where delegates will learn how to incorporate different CAD model formats into an immersive design session and how to review, change, and sign off a design task using the latest AR and VR tools.

Each month our Research Committee, made up of Tier 1 and 2 NCC members, receive regular updates on the cutting-edge research being conducted at the NCC.

NCC's Procurement Manager, Zoe Sotan, will discuss the Public Sector Procurement Reform and how it affects businesses.

Join Jakub Kucera, EngD - NCC, at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) SciTech Forum on 4th January 2022, from 2-3.30pm, where he will be presenting research about a novel toolchain methodology developed that has contributed towards the Digital Engineering Technology & Innovation (DETI) programme.

The launch of the 5G-Encode test bed will take place at the National Composites Centre, providing the opportunity for delegates to experience four industry demonstrations that showcase the power of 5G technology, offering the opportunity to tour the test bed and facility.

Dr Pete Giddings will take part in a panel discussion on 23rd November from 14:00-15:00 on 'Wind – working towards 100% recyclable wind turbines'.
