The composites industry is a Strategic National Asset that holds the key to how powerhouse industries – aerospace, automotive, energy, and infrastructure – decarbonise, remain globally competitive and create thousands of new skilled jobs. The aim of the reception is to strengthen the message to all political parties that composites are critical to delivery of the UK’s net-zero targets and thus start to influence development of the 2025-30 industrial strategy.
