The 2024 Offshore Wind Industrial Growth Plan (IGP) calls for the creation of a collaborative innovation hub and a dedicated national centre for turbine technology development. This session brings together leaders from industry and the research landscape to explore how the UK can transform the way we innovate, develop and de-risk technologies which will form the future of a successful offshore wind supply chain.

UK Offshore Wind Supply Chain Spotlight
The UK Offshore Wind Supply Chain Spotlight is organised by the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership, and brings together senior political and industry leaders, investors and procurement specialists with many of the UK’s leading supply chain companies currently benefitting from ORE Catapult and OWGP supply chain growth programmes.
It will shine a spotlight on outstanding innovation and excellence within the UK’s offshore wind supply chain, exploring opportunities, challenges and next steps as the UK seeks to maximise the opportunity from the acceleration of offshore wind.
Sessions will include keynote speakers and panel sessions discussing how to drive the growth of the UK offshore wind, with the return of dedicated sessions featuring pitches from early stage companies seeking investment and later stage companies showcasing their products and services. Many of the most innovative UK supply chain companies will also be exhibiting throughout the day.
