
The Made Smarter Great South West programme has launched across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset. This government-backed initiative helps SME manufacturers embrace digital technologies and boost productivity.

NCC is proud to be the lead delivery partner for the Made Smarter Great South West programme, funded by the Department for Business and Trade and delivered across Dorset (including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole), Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The programme will run until 31st March 2026, led by Cornwall Council in conjunction with NCC and delivery partners SWMAS and the University of the West of England (UWE).
The programme offers:
- Up to 50% match funding for digital tech adoption
- Fully funded digital leadership and champion training
- Paid digital internships
- Personalised 1:1 digital roadmaps
