The 24th International Conference on Composite Materials (ICCM24) will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center, Maryland.
This year, NCC is hosting a special workshop, supported by the Bristol Composites Institute (BCI) and endorsed by the ICCM Industry Workgroup:
“Creation of Societal and Industrial Impact from Outstanding Fundamental Research”
This unique workshop will include both keynote speakers and panel discussions, bringing together selected representatives from global RTOs, major industrial influencers and policy makers. We’ll present and discuss existing or aspirational models to facilitate the transition of fundamental research into commercial settings.
Highlights include:
- Panel discussions hosted by Professor Mike Hinton (HVM Catapult, UK) and Mark Summers (Chief Technology Officer, NCC)
- Insights from major, cross-sector industrial players including Boeing, Baker Hughes and Airbus
- Hear from representatives from leading RTOs from across Europe, Asia and North America
Key themes:
- Impact and value of translational research
