What does your organisation do and who do you support?

CGI is one of the world's largest independent IT and business consulting services firms. Within the space sector we help organisations deliver complex software and digital solutions that meet rapidly evolving mission and market demands. We design resilient, secure systems that enable assured communications and operations across the entire space ecosystem, from space to ground to the end user. CGI supports civil, commercial and defence clients across Europe, Australia, Asia and North America.

What makes your organisation different?

CGI combines decades of experience supporting mission critical space programmes with world-class expertise in systems integration, cyber security, AI and digital transformation. We help clients design, operate, secure, and modernise the entire digital ecosystem that enables successful space missions.

What are your core products and specialisms?

Our expertise spans satcoms, data exploitation, command and control, onboard software, and ground segment engineering.

CGI offers end-to-end services that drive continuous innovation through industry expertise. Business consulting, systems integration, and managed IT services are key components of what CGI can provide.

Which sectors do you operate in?

CGI works across the space, aerospace and defence ecosystem. Our breadth of industry knowledge helps us to ‘join the dots’ to provide agility and resilience.

Within the space sector, CGI recently produced the application software that will contribute to more accurate and reliable space weather forecasting as part of the SMILE mission. CGI also co-chair the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (Space ISAC) UK Hub.

We have several decades of experience supporting European Space Agency, UK Space Agency and NASA missions working in collaboration with European Primes delivering high quality assured platform and instrument software.
