AMI has announced that its Composites in Rail conference, due to take place in Berlin, Germany on 3-4 June, has now been postponed to 8-9 October 2020. The NCC is a partner for this event.
The event will still take place at the Mercure Hotel MOA in Berlin, Germany. Uncertainty created by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) led to the decision to delay the event.
Jordaine Minchin, Conference Producer AMI Composites Portfolio, comments: “Following consultation with speakers, exhibitors and attendees we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the event. It’s a very challenging time, but we’re receiving lots of support from the industry and are looking forward to catching up in person at the event!”
The conference is returning to Berlin for the second edition following a successful launch in 2019. Attendee places will all be transferred to the new dates and most of the programme will remain the same. AMI will be working closely with event partners, National Composite Centre, to fill any gaps that appear in the agenda.
Speakers include Karim Slimani, from SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français), Rocio Ruiz Gallardo from AIMPLAS, Frank ten Napel from Toray Advanced Composites and Eduardo de la Guerra from Talgo.
