Deploying robotics and automation in your business

Partnership and funding opportunities

Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) and NCC are leading a joint initiative to establish a Robotics Adoption Hub for the wider South West region. Our aim is to drive growth and productivity across diverse industries by improving access to, and confidence in, robotics and automation - while actively supporting businesses through their adoption journey.

As part of this initiative, we are developing several partnership opportunities, many of which include access to funding support:

  1. Become a Supporter
Provide a letter of support for the hub and receive priority access to networking events, showcases and early insights.
  2. Become a Showcase Site
Join us in demonstrating real-world robotics applications by hosting visits and events. Participating organisations may be eligible for subsidised equipment upgrades and hosting costs through Innovate UK funding.
  3. Become a First Adopter & Delivery Partner
Take part in the first cohort of robotics deployment projects within the hub. Projects may be eligible for up to 70% funding support (depending on company size and eligible costs).

Participants should be prepared to launch projects in 2027 with completion before the end of 2029, have match funding in place and confirm participation as a hub delivery partner by 10 April 2026. Please note that, due to limited funding availability, participation in these opportunities will be allocated on a competitive, first-come-first-served basis. Expressions of interest are therefore encouraged as early as possible, although an initial response does not guarantee a place within the programme.

Please complete our short expression of interest survey belo as soon as possible, and no later than 1 April 2026
