Composites for Non-Destructive Testing Practitioners
Inspect composite structures with confidence. You’ll manufacture composite parts, learn about common defects, and then inspect them using state of the art methods and equipment.
Overview
Inspecting composite structures comes with a unique set of challenges. Inspectors must understand the manufacturing processes of composite parts and recognise the typical defects that form in them. On top of that they need to know how to properly set up equipment to produce accurate inspections that allow for confident decision-making. In this practically focussed course you’ll manufacture composite components, and we’ll show you how to inspect them properly. You’ll leave with the ability to specify inspection strategies and execute them correctly. This course is aimed at learners who are qualified, or working towards being qualified, in non-destructive inspection.
