Enabling Capabilities

To accelerate the shift to digital, companies need to be able to securely store, process, analyse and share high volumes of data, and feedback into the systems in real-time. By working collaboratively, UK engineering firms will be able to learn from each other and accelerate their digital engineering capabilities.

DETI will focus on delivering core, reusable critical digital infrastructure: a data-rich, secure and connected digital test bed, the toolkit of systems, models and data architecture. It will identify a series of ‘Enabling Capabilities’ that all companies need to be able to work collaboratively, both within their business and between companies; a series of best practice guidelines, systems and platforms that can be used by companies to implement equivalent domains within their organisation.
