Introducing the Design Manufacturing Futures Lab

Dr James Gopsill presents at the University of Bristol's Research Showcase, the Design Manufacturing Futures Lab and their Digital Engineering Research Portfolio. This research is being pulled through into industry capability through the DETI Enabling Capabilities programme.

The Digital Engineering topics cover a range of Technology Readiness and include Quantum Computer Aided Engineering, Digital Thread, Digital-Physical Twinning, Novel Digital-Physical Prototyping Techniques, Artificial Intelligence in Design, Manufacture and Simulation and Generative Design.

Dr James Gopsill is a joint-appointed Senior Research Fellow between University of Bristol and Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS) and is Technical Lead for the DETI Enabling Capability - Digital Thread.
