Turn outstanding research into industrial impact
NCC is launching a call for applications for the 2027-28 Technology Pull-Through (TPT) programme this September. This short webinar will outline details of the programme and answer applicant questions.
About the programme
The TPT programme has been running since 2017 and is open to all UK universities and academics. We welcome applications from those who have completed fundamental research into composites, digital or related sustainability technologies and are looking to increase technology readiness.
The aim of the programme is to help new technologies make the step from TRL 3 to TRL 6 – out of the lab environment and into an industrial setting.
Successful projects will benefit from:
- Funding to scale-up and de-risk new technologies, facilitating the transition to industry.
- NCC expertise in project management, research and development, in addition to access to our cutting-edge industrial facility.
Key dates
2026
- 14th September: Webinar and launch of 2027/28 call
- 16th October: Deadline for submission of Expression of Interest
- 1st November: Expressions of Interest assessed and selected
- 18th December: Deadline for submission of costed proposals
2027
- 27th January: Costed proposals assessed and selected
- 1st April: Projects kick off
