National Composites Centre launch new online Introduction to Sustainability course

02 November 2022

Sustainability is a global priority, and composites will play a fundamental role in a net zero future. To help industry adapt, the National Composites Centre have launched an online version of their Introduction to Sustainability course, offering more people the opportunity to upskill in this vital topic.

The course explains the considerations that need to be made by organisations across a product’s entire lifecycle to make it more sustainable.

With the need to reskill and upskill employees in an affordable way more important than ever for businesses, the NCC’s online training allows anyone to develop their knowledge by taking self-taught courses that they can access at any time, from any location.

Andy Sutton, Engineering Capability Lead for Training at the NCC, said: “By offering our Introduction to Sustainability course online, we are hoping to help businesses across the UK access the training they need to develop their products and processes, and to make use of the many benefits composite materials can offer in a sustainable way.”

The Introduction to Sustainability is also offered as in-person taught course, and in a virtual classroom setting. The full range of training courses offered by the NCC can be found at nccuk.com/training.
