Pupils from Years 4-8 from across Bristol, South Glos, BANES and North Somerset, are all invited to share their own science investigations at this Great Science Share Fair.
The aim of the Great Science Share is to nurture kids’ natural curiosity by providing an opportunity for them to pose a scientific question, plan a way to investigate their question, and then share their investigation with new audiences. This promotes child-centred learning as well as giving children a chance to communicate their projects in a non-competitive, inclusive environment.
KS2 and KS3 pupils from across the South West are all invited to share their own science investigations at a free STEM event hosted by UWE Bristol on Tuesday 14th June, 10am-2pm.
The day will include a science share fair (where your pupils will get to show off their own science work from this term, and see what other local school groups have been up to), and three STEM workshops delivered by trained outreach coordinators:
- Building an eco-house
- Drawing with robots
- We Make Our Future - an interactive science show inside Explorer Dome's inflatable planetarium!
There will also be some funky displays and demos from UWE research teams, and certificates for everyone to take home!
