Immersive Design Collaboration

Thursday, 10 Mar 2022

National Composites Centre

The National Composites Centre (NCC) vision is to help UK organisations achieve better through-life product sustainability, efficiency and low carbon processes by exploiting the power of disruptive digital technologies.

Through research programmes such as DETI and 5G-Encode and with support from the AR for Enterprise Alliance (AREA), a range of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) tools and applications have been researched and tested, to aid businesses that want to explore the realms of immersive technology within engineering design and manufacturing.

The NCC and AREA will be holding an inaugural Immersive Design Collaboration event, taking place on 10th March 2022, at the NCC, Bristol, with morning and afternoon sessions available. This is an opportunity to experience the latest technology from leading AR and VR providers, delegates will learn how to incorporate different CAD model formats into an immersive design session and how to review, change, and sign off a design task using the latest AR and VR tools.

If you are interested in learning more about the Immersive capabilities and technologies available, complete the event registration form. There are 40 delegate places available, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. For any questions regarding the event, please email; [email protected]
