Innovation Zero is a two-day climate and clean tech congress taking place in London on 24 and 25 May 2023.
Kyle Pender, Advanced Research Engineer, Sustainability at National Composites Centre will be presenting 'Composites in wind – Opportunities for innovation for the future of the wind industry', on Wednesday 25 May from 3.30pm - 4.00pm.
Innovation Zero will bring together trade, investment, finance, energy and environmental specialists and will put them alongside the best of our innovators and businesses who see decarbonisation as an opportunity to come together and deliver solutions.
Over 350 inspiring industry speakers and panellists will take to the stage to deliver presentations, briefings and case studies on how decarbonisation can achieved through innovation.
High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC) and the National Composites Centre will be exhibiting a hydrogen pressure vessel which was made using reclaimed continuous carbon fibres from a complete pressure vessel and re-used to manufacture a new one. This significant first step to deliver sustainable composite pressure vessels was developed by the National Composites Centre with partners B&M Longworth and Cygnet Texkimp.
