Safe Net Zero 2024: Safety considerations for materials used in hydrogen environments will take place on 13th February 2024 and focuses on a key theme that many in industry, academia, research and development are keen to explore: the selection, technical performance and safety of materials used in hydrogen environments.
As the UK decarbonises to meet its net zero ambitions, the aim of the event is to dive deep into the challenges associated with the use of materials in hydrogen environments and highlight the work being done to understand the implications for safety.
This event brings together anyone with an interest in the safe development and use of materials in hydrogen environments to share current knowledge and experiences, identify where there's more to do and build relationships so that we can collectively work together to enable a safe net zero.
The event will feature eminent thought leaders and expert presenters delivering a programme designed around the following topics:
- Fundamental material properties and selection
- Materials testing, characterisation and safety
- Material applications in industry and case studies
- Future trends and collaboration
Catch up with Marcus Walls-Bruck, Head of Hydrogen Technologies at the National Composites Centre, who will be present as a speaker and panelist. Marcus will also be available throughout the event to discuss how the NCC can support your hydrogen ambitions.
