The Green Tech Boat Show 2022

Thursday, 16 - Saturday, 18 Jun 2022

Plymouth

Back for a second year, The Green Tech Boat Show is designed for boat owners wishing to make the switch to greener options, and prospective owners who'd like to start their boating journey in the most environmentally friendly way possible. The event is organised by MDL Marinas and is taking place at Queen Anne's Battery in Plymouth on 16-18 June 2022.

Clean Marine Innovation Showcase

This year's event includes a Clean Marine Innovation Showcase organised in collaboration with Maritime UK South West. It is a unique forum for government, researchers and businesses working towards a cleaner marine environment to come together to exchange ideas, highlight new innovations and network with likeminded organisations. Ideal for both investors and innovators, the showcase is hosted at the Innovation Hub. The showcase will include UK Government strategy, innovation funding and business support.

Meet the NCC

Gary Offord, Technology Programme Manager in the National Composites Centre's Surface Transport team, will be speaking at the event as part of the panel on R&D support for clean maritime within the Clean Marine Innovation Showcase. We'll be presenting about the crucial role of composites in unlocking net zero marine and how the NCC can support companies in this transition for the marine and maritime industry.
