Dr. Peter Giddings, Chief Engineer for Energy at the National Composites Centre, will be participating in a panel session “Creating a sustainable offshore wind supply chain” at the UK Offshore Wind Supply Chain Spotlight Conference.
Taking place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the conference is delivered by the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership, which brings together senior political and industry leaders, investors and procurement specialists from the UK's leading supply chain companies benefitting from ORE Catapult and OWGP supply chain growth programmes.
It will shine a spotlight on outstanding innovation and excellence within the UK’s offshore wind supply chain, exploring opportunities, challenges and next steps as the UK seeks to maximise the opportunity from the acceleration of offshore wind.
Sessions will include keynote speakers and panel sessions discussing how to drive the growth of the UK offshore wind, with the return of dedicated sessions featuring pitches from early stage companies seeking investment and later stage companies showcasing their products and services. Many of the most innovative UK supply chain companies will also be exhibiting throughout the day.
